Sue Voyles considers herself one of the lucky people who always knew “what I wanted to be.” A writer, a journalist, a communicator, a media pitching guru and storyteller. She’s spent more than 25 years in the communications and marketing field, working hard to convey stories with relevancy and meaning to various audiences. Her early career was focused on the nonprofit arena, managing public relations, marketing, fundraising, events and volunteer programs. Looking to balance her work and personal life, she founded the marketing and public relations firm, Logos Communications Inc., in 1999. Starting with $500 and a strong network, she has grown the firm to a client roster that represents diverse industries such as multifamily housing, incentive marketing, hospitality, security, law, health care, human resources, telecommunications, and business associations. Logos Communications has been the recipient of multiple national awards including a Telly Award, Clarion Awards from the Association for Women in Communications and Davey Awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.
Accepting the call to Stephen Ministry in 2010 and serving as a Stephen Minister for several years, Sue completed Stephen Leader training in 2016 and leads the Stephen Ministry team at her church. She has also taught at the college level and conducts training on communications and leadership for executive teams.
Since starting her business, Sue has learned that true success comes when we follow God’s call to use our talents in our personal, spiritual and business endeavors, and to help others in their journey. Sue has a master’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University, a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, and a Certificate in Communication and Leadership from The Global Leadership Summit and endorsed by Wheaton College. She currently serves on the board of directors for Incentive Federation Inc. Sue is married to Ken and they have two adult children. An avid sports fan, her hobbies include fitness, reading and watching superhero movies. She and her husband enjoy traveling and experiencing new places and people.
